The arrival of our first Wirehaired Kaninchen Dachshund litter was a memorable in the history of Tonyawire Kennel.
Born on 12 July 2021, this litter represented the beginning of our breeding program dedicated to the Kaninchen Wirehaired Dachshund, a breed we had admired for many years.
The puppies were the result of a thoughtfully selected combination between our foundation female Mariss Yumoreska and Multi Champion Axel z Przystani Wodniackiej, an outstanding male known for his excellent breed type, temperament, and successful European bloodlines.

The litter consisted of two males and two females, each carrying the qualities we value most in the breed: correct proportions, confident temperament, harsh wire coat, and the lively character that makes the Wirehaired Kaninchen Dachshund such a wonderful companion.
Looking back today, this first litter marked the beginning of a new chapter for our kennel. It established the foundation for future generations of Tonyawire Dachshunds and confirmed the breeding goals we continue to follow: health, temperament, correct breed type, and carefully selected pedigrees.
