Scottish Terrier

My journey with the Scottish Terrier breed began in 2015, thanks to my friend Andrei, who entrusted me with my very first Scottish Terrier, Mandowal Call for TonyaWire, affectionately known as „Cleo”. scottish terrier

Cleo became the foundation of the TonyaWire breeding program. Her outstanding temperament, breed type, expression and character convinced me that the Scottish Terrier was a truly remarkable breed. Over the years, I carefully selected and retained daughters from Cleo, building the kennel around bloodlines that I knew and trusted.

Since the beginning of my breeding activity, I have chosen to work exclusively with dogs owned by Canis Equus, the well-known Scottish Terrier kennel of Ute Luig in Germany. This long-term cooperation has allowed me to maintain consistency in type, temperament and quality throughout the generations.

At TonyaWire Kennel, our goal is not simply to breed Scottish Terriers, but to preserve the distinctive qualities that make this breed so special: confidence, intelligence, loyalty, sound structure and the unique Scottish Terrier expression admired by enthusiasts worldwide.

Over the years, puppies bred by TonyaWire have found loving homes in many countries around the world. We are proud that our dogs have become cherished family companions, successful show dogs and valued representatives of the breed in different corners of Europe and beyond.

You can learn more about some of our Scottish Terriers and their lives with their families on the Our Dogs in New Houses page, where we share updates and stories from dogs bred at TonyaWire Kennel.

All our puppies are raised in a family environment, receiving daily socialization, individual attention and the best possible start in life. We believe responsible breeding is built on quality rather than quantity, with careful planning and a genuine passion for the breed.

Today, TonyaWire continues the legacy that began with Cleo, preserving bloodlines that have brought us years of friendship, success and unforgettable Scottish Terriers.
