At TonyaWire Kennel, our passion for the Kaninchen Wirehaired Dachshund began with the arrival of an exceptional female imported from Russia, Maris Yumoreska, bred by the renowned Maris Kennel. Coming from carefully selected bloodlines, she combines excellent breed type, correct wire coat, balanced temperament and the characteristic expression of the breed.

We keep her daughter, Roua of TonyaWire, a young female bred in our kennel. Roua is the result of a carefully planned breeding between Maris Yumoreska and Axel z Przystani Wodniackiej, a male known for his quality, temperament and strong pedigree.

Our breeding program focuses on preserving the unique qualities of the Kaninchen Wirehaired Dachshund: sound structure, correct harsh coat, working ability, confidence and a friendly family temperament. We believe that every puppy should be not only beautiful, but also healthy, well-socialized and capable of becoming a wonderful companion.

The Kaninchen Wirehaired Dachshund is the smallest size variety of the wirehaired dachshund, appreciated for its intelligence, courage and lively personality. Despite its compact size, it remains a true dachshund with a strong character and remarkable versatility.
