Every successful Scottish Terrier breeding program has a dog that changes everything. For Tonyawire Kennel, that dog was Mandowal Call for Tonyawire, affectionately known as Cleo.

Cleo was the first Scottish Terrier to join our family and the female that laid the foundation for our breeding program. Through her, we discovered the remarkable character, intelligence, and timeless elegance that make the Scottish Terrier one of the world’s most distinctive breeds.

Coming from carefully selected European bloodlines, Cleo introduced us to responsible breeding, pedigree analysis, and the importance of preserving correct breed type, health, and temperament. She became the starting point for the generations of Scottish Terriers that were later bred under the Tonyawire prefix.

Today, her legacy continues through several descendants born at Tonyawire Kennel, and her influence remains visible in our breeding philosophy and long-term goals.
